PandemicStop-AI is thrilled to serve on the organizing committee of the Antimicrobial Resistance Québec (AMRQ) network and contribute to help federate AMR efforts in Quebec. AMRQ was co-founded and is led by PandemicStop-AI member Prof. Dao Nguyen (McGill) alongside Prof. Marc Ouellette (Laval).
Our consortium helped design the vision and content of the first AMRQ Day in June 2024. Guided by cross-cutting priorities such as AI and the One Health approach, the event united researchers, professionals, and policy leaders to highlight ongoing AMR initiatives in Québec, strengthen cross-sector collaboration, and outline next steps for building a more connected provincial network. A summary report from the event is in progress, alongside preparations for a second AMRQ Day in 2026.
