Our role in the AMR Québec network

PandemicStop-AI was honored to serve on the organizing committee for the Antimicrobial Resistance Québec (AMRQ) network, contributing to the design, planning and launch of the inaugural AMRQ Day held in June 2025.

We share AMRQ’s commitment to innovative, interdisciplinary research grounded in a One Health approach, recognizing the interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health. Addressing antimicrobial resistance requires coordinated action across clinical, agricultural, environmental, and policy domains.

The 2025 AMRQ Day brought together nearly 100 participants from academia, public organizations, ministries, and industry to map AMR initiatives across Québec, identify needs and strengths, and foster cross-sector collaboration. The event also helped define next steps to strengthen and expand the AMRQ network and its impact.

A comprehensive report summarizing the discussions and key directions emerging from AMRQ Day 2025 is currently in preparation and will help guide the network’s next steps, including the organization of a second AMRQ Day. To learn more about AMRQ’s mission and partners, visit here.
